~ Personal Boundaries ~ (will be enforced whether you read it or not)

I go by both “Tarrie” and “Thumbnails”

- My gender causes to become

- Writer (whump) (violent; but SFW)

- ExJW (PIMO) (“agnostic” as in “space is vast and quantum physics is janky”)

- Horror and sci-fi fan (Hammer Films, Tyburn, Amicus, Alien, Star Trek, Batman TAS, Batman Beyond, Lost in Space (both series), Earth: Final Conflict, The Wicker Man, Rocky Horror Picture Show, TETSUO: The Iron Man, etc.)

- Periodically screams about old books

Demons in the Sky

(Winged creature, historical (early 1900s), rescue, friendship)

Overall CW for: Humans being religiously superstitious toward a species of fictional avians

Masterlist

Oasis

(A person finds themselves transported to a beautiful, but strange world. Written in diary format.)

Overall CW for: Existential dread; death

Masterlist

“We Are Not Alone”

(Alien invasion; apocalypse)

Overall CW for: Heavily referenced mass death and destruction; trauma, trauma, and more trauma; no really it gets VERY f*cked up

Y’know… in case you wanna watch my descent into animation hell… Or if you just have a thing for controversial 1940s dystopian literature with villains who can’t do basic math, that’s cool too.

It’s where I advertise my Redbubble

I also have a secret cooking sideblog which I will not link… because it’s all recipes of how to serve man (I’m kidding)

Do the "stupid and/or cheesy" things that help you write!

Like got dayum, it's writing not live performance. What do you think those literature writers did while cranking out 600 page novels, knowing there's a 50/50 chance the government would ban their book for a single sentence saying, "and the two girlies kissed..."

Play atmospheric music and lofi to engross you into the worlds

Write while studying a random tree in the park incredibly heavily just to capture the exact description of an ancient fantasy tree

Carry a thesaurus

Asks and find references for sus things

Make funny faces, get enact motions, whatever it is you got to do

Write entire pages knowing you're going to cut out 60% of it

Write miniscule phrases knowing your going to spice it all up later

Celebrate every beautiful baby WIP by shoving it in the face of your tumblr followers

Listen to video essays that share a similar tone to what you're writing or go on about something that also happens to be in your writing

Do the thing that helps you! It helps you.

The only one that can judge you about it is yourself and the writing gods
